ignition problem
« on: 30 March 2005, 14:00 »
Hi ive had problems before with the ignition system on my car so instead of checking it, and as the car was due for a service i replaced leads, plugs, distributor and rotor arm which was end of last year. I had the timing belt done last week and they had problems getting timming to be spot on saying it was something to do with the rotor arm being wobbly. Car was fine till i went to start it this morning and it was wet, wouldnt start at all untill i used wet start on the ignition system and it started soon as i put it on. But if all the parts were new and were working fine till the other day could the mechanic who fitted the timming belt done something? please help, cheers.
