Itermitent indicators??

OK, not a mk5 but my touran (same switch gear) works when it feels like it? this was once every few months but is now all the time! i turn it will work another junction and nothing? never the same? if i move the stork up and down quickly this will sometiomes make it work or if i bang the steering wheel.

Probably a dodgy stalk, pop down a breakers or eBay and get another one.
