i have founf injectors for £129 each - obviously labour costs there too but it's not as bad as £500!

Where have you found the injectors that cheap?!

Would be interested to know why they were removed if nothing wrong with it.

You'd want new O-rings to go with that though.

O-rings, couple of quid, not much really.

If you're going to do it then as doc says, get a set. At that price it's worth it, and also gives you 3 working spares should you need them again.

Oh and o rings, make sure you get viton seals (usually green) as they resist the inherent degrading nature of diesel now that it has a percentage of biofuel stock in it.
