I believe the exhaust will not hold it back much, however it is better to fit the exhaust 1st if you are planning on changing it as if you fit it later you may need the remap tweaking to get the most gains from it.

Loads of people remap with the standard exhaust.  The biggest restriction is your CAT.  Get a sports cat to free up the mid range
