Insurance on the Anni
« on: 17 May 2011, 15:05 »
It's due soon, and it's becoming more and more likely I'm going to be hitting the 1K bracket again! I was able to insure the valver (and indeed the Anni) for £780 on my current policy, but everywhere is coming out with £900+ on a one off payment.

Best I've received so far is £973.11 and this is from Greenlight and Elephant. Given that Greenlight will cover me like for like on a Comprehensive policy where as Elephant will not cover the mods and are offering Third Party, Greenlight swings it greatly.

The thing that is annoying is why is it so expensive to get insurance, the mods I have don't change the policy a great deal. I understand insurance has gone up but by £200? That's about 25% over my current policy.  :undecided:

I tried Adrian Flux, and they are after £1344!!!

Guess a 25% increase isn't too bad then. But still, punishing people that have done nothing wrong isn't the best way to do business.
