It may just be me getting used to power steering and dry steering when I probably shouldn't, I doubt these things react quite so well ;)

I've got the guys at work to check it over, they maintain all the military vehicles etc, so they generally know what they're doing, they said mechenaically we're all good, and aesthetics are more less paintwork, there is very little rust etc, so I'm still well chuffed for my £350

Just found the guy I bought it off left a tuning chip in the doorpocket, I won't be fitting it to the car, does anybody want it? Just pay postage and its yours :)

I live on Newtown court mate, just off Potton Road, I'll have the GTi back on my 'drive' tonight. Where abouts are you, and when do you want to bring your's round? lol

I'm round by Aldi and the doctors down Foundry Lane.

Mines only a lowly mk3 8v, seen how the mk2 boys like to take the mick out of the old tug boats lol  :grin:

I might have to make a small diversion on my way home tonight to see if I can see it!

well i'm home and the golf is out front, left my corsa at the in-laws so i could bring it back :p If i notice a mk3 pull up i'll come give you a shout :)

I found you! Came and had a look. Looks ok, but you need to get that primer covered up.

Ye I will be doing, hoping to have full paintwork sorted out professionally as soon as possible :) I have somewhere I can store if it gets wet before I can get it done.

Nice base but id ditch the front doors and find some wih the mirrors in the right place
