exhaust to loud (help)

i got a 1.4 and the silencer near cat kept cracking so put straight pipe in and its straight all way 2 end can its to loud anyone no were i can get a cat back system for it cheers

Online automotive sell standard full systems including cat if necessary. What condition was your front box in? Was it old and rusty and hence kept breaking? Or as said, had you fitted it incorrectly?

Why would you have a straight through on a 1.4 anyway? Silencers are so called for a reason Are you wearing trackie bottoms and a burberry cap.

If the exhaust keeps cracking it could be due to excess movement in the engine mounts.
