right you lot... need some help and advice and you all seem to be quite hands on
have been building a patio for the good lady in my spare time...
all has gone according to plan so far... its been done on a budget of virtually nothing (the stones were free so they don't match the original ones so thats why it doesn't look superb)
I dug the patio out of a sloping garden, at the back of the patio i dug a drainage ditch and lay in a semi permeable drain pipe to help.. this will be covered in pea shingle
however.. because the garden is on quite an incline I have been left with a problem...

as you can see I need some form of edging to go in... the patio IS straight... its the angle of the shed and the garden that are on the p1ss...
my solution would be to get a baton, like treated deck board, have this cut to size for the shed and then baton it against the shed support... for the garden... again baton it, but have an 'even' baton go right across the garden then backfill with earth in behind on the right hand side and lay turf over the top? The pea shingle will go in the trench between the patio edge and the baton.
any other suggestions? I'm proper rubbish at being a chippy and this is my first go at doing anything like this so go easy
