Universal sport cat?
« on: 13 May 2011, 12:03 »
Just finished my conversion on my mk3 to a 1.8t and am running a decat atm as I couldnt afford 400 quid for the miltek sports cat lol, plan was to fit the miltek when I could afford it, but it would involve cutting up a £400 part which I'm not too keen on

Just been looking around the net and had a mini brainwave and thought I dont actually need a 1.8t specific cat as I'm already running a custom downpipe and have a 16v catback jetex system, so all I need is the sports cat. Are the universal sports cats a good idea? Can anyone reccomend a good company? Dont wanna go to the trouble of fitting one just to have it fail MOT anyway for being crap

Cheers :)
20vt conversion, sig pic coming soon!
