handbreak light very dim

my handbreaklight is on very dim but when u put the handbreak on it is bright  it started a couple of days ago coming on now and then dim but no it is on straight away pluged in vag com but no errors im guessing a short or somthing but cant find anything dose anyone know when the wire for the light goes and if there is a common place to short out?

finaly got to the bottom of this

it was the break fluid was low and had a dirty conector on the switch which was why it was so dim
