hi all

just wondering if it is easy to de badge my 02 mk4 golf gt tdi. if so how do you do it without leaving any marks.
Can you also remove the vw badge or does that have a recess behind it.

Use a hairdryer or hot air gun to loosen them then just peel off carefully, then a weak solvent/thinners to get rid of the mess.

The centre VW badge on the tailgate does have a recess behind it. The badge itself is in two pieces and you can colour code the backing to make it look smoother, i'll post pics soon as i get the chance in daylight.

I used some dental flossd it worked a treat on mine and it worked a treat :wink:
