Hi Guys,
Basically I bought a campervan 2 years ago with a K jet DX engine fitted.
It had a lot of quirks one being that to get the pump running you had to have the side lights on. Seems the guys relay had blown and a AA guy did it as a temp fix and he kept it.
So I got an autosparky to have a look and bought new fuel pump relay from GFS, he rewired it and worked great.
Now recently I have been trying to sort a few hot idle issues and decided to check CSV, TTS, WUR and Aux air.
It seemed that with the relay back in the WUR and Aux air had not been wired back in by autosparky so thought i'd do it.
So following this plan that came with van in the paper work:

I rewired where they were getting their live from to the live going to the fuel pump. Unplugged them just to check voltage and started her up....
Even with nothing else other than the pump drawing current it has blown the relay. Opened it up and it has burnt a hole in the track leading to connection 87. So I thought id try soldering it and it started again, checked voltage and the AUX air and WUR then got 12v, but engine cut out, relay blown again.
Have I done something wrong based on that wiring diagram? Could it be due to relay being cheap from GSF?
On a side note my fuel pump is pretty noisy and so not sure if the struggling could be causing too much current to be drawn? but cant see how not having any of the WUR or Aux air plugged in could tip it over edge?
any help much appreciated
