Cant f*ckin believe it. Got back to my house late last night, and some pikey c*nt has half inched my VR6 splitter! Must have done it last night, right outside the house. F*ck me id have love to caught the bloke in the act, would have taken my torque wrench to him. Whats really annoying is that it was a genuine one which I picked up off ebay brand new for £25 - you dont see that everyday. You wouldnt know it was genuine until you got it off would ya so the c*nt got very lucky with that. Dont think you can get em from VW anymore, n if you can its £70

The other sad thing is that for someone to nick one of them you know (a) they got to have a dub and (b) they must be into modding to give a sh!t about a vr6 splitter! Robbed by one of our own!

Anyone else had dub stuff nicked on here? eg. not stereos etc

yep on my old green mk3 gl i went to scrappy and managed to get myslef full gti plastic trim wheel arches and door trims.
i came out in morning, went to work in it,
left car in car part and went out to work in work van. wasnt till i got back to work later my work mate said why have you taken all your trim off.

some c*nt had stripped it ALL off including vr splitter and side skirt top clip on bits and i had driven to work without noticing.

would love to have used my steering lock/bat on them gggrrr

Yeah, the side trims on my old mk3 went walkies. Its most annoying that, like you say, its one of our own, someone that knows what they are after.

In a way, if you had left a phone on the dash or had a £500 stereo nicked you could maybe understand it sort of. Sell it off for cash etc. But GTI trim?? There are some things in this life that are sacred!!! Should be a commandment Thou Shall Never Pinch A Fellow Dubbers Parts

Not quite the same but just as annoying is parking dents, i'm getting very pi**ed off with ignorant lunkheads putting marks on the side of my car especially in the work car park .
