help with rear drivers side passenger window frame

currently in the process of tidying up my mk4 gti,new grille,getting bbs's refurb'd,etc etc,and i have a rusting window frame........


does anybody know if these can be replaced and how difficult it would be to do?

I would just sand it down and use some black spray paint. Make sure if you were to do this to use masking type to mash up the other black trim.

When you have finished use some boot polish/lin seed oil or just your regular trim cleaner to bring it back to black.

Cheers mate,thought of doin that already just would prefer to have a new 1 fitted,have found a tutorial on the web,givin the local vw part store a bell tomorrow for the part needed apparently it's only a few quid but will soon find out

Just got back from the local vw parts counter the triangle window frame piece for the rear drivers window was

£8.78 part no. W1j4 839 416 a0 3c

Hope this helps some of you out will be fitting 2mrw will try and do a mini write-up about it
