ABS Fault

Yesterday the ABS light kept coming on, on the dash. And said ABS fault where temp is on dash. I have plugged it in vagcom and it said hydraulic brake pump out of tollerance v46

It hasnt happened today.
any one know what its referring to?

Thats refering to the ABS pump, Look under your bonnet and it should be at the right as you look at the bay. It has metal lines going in and a cylindrical black pump/resoviour on the top.

Just clear the code and drive it normaly, if it comes back up it could mean new pump time and they are costly new.

could be a abs sensor or abs ring

might sound like a stupid question but did you log vag com onto abs module  and read fault code or just  engine module and find the code ,mine came up with a similar code under the engine module section ,then when scanned on the abs module it came up with electrical fault/no signal right rear or something like that ,sensor was around £13 delivered off egay
