Right just a quick one to say hello, will upload more later.

This is my car when i first got it, it went through 2 of my mates at work in a week, then i picked it up.






The spec is as follows:
2001 1.8t
173,000 miles on the clock - but it runs like an absolute dream, smooth is an understatement
3 owners from new
Full VW service history (with every stamp)
Cambelt changed on last service, then again a few thousand miles ago along with the water pump
11 Months MOT
Traction control
Full RECARO seats
Sunroof

Right, first quick mod was to make the car my own.

Garish orange badge  and quickly de-badged the 'golf' and 'GTI'




Before anything major started i needed to get the basic things out of the way. Since owning the horn hasnt worked, this annoyed me to no end, driving past friends pointlessly banging the steering wheel to show off my new car like a plonker. So after a quick scout discovered a pesky 15 amp fuse had blown. Simple 

Next was to fully detail the car, so spent a full day polishing, machining, washing, waxing, and hoovering. etc,

This was the outcome, not as shiny as id like but getting there, its washed and polished at least once a week.
