Research it fella. This is covered a few times a week so there's plenty of info threads kicking about. Don't expect to do a turbo/supercharge conversion for anything under £1500 though, even if your welding and fabricating skills are amazing.

Nah, all you do is slap on a Trust T88 turbo, and bobs your uncle 800hp on standard internals  :grin:

fitting an eaton m45 to my mk1, from an slk230

picked up for a bargainous £50 on eaby ;)

M45 is only really good for up to a 1.6, will do very little on a 2.0

Wrong, the M45 was desgined for 2.0 to 3.0l Mercedes, the Cooper S varient runs lower % overdrive plus its a very good flowing head. If you know what you're doing the power is there to be made4

What would be the point, you could only use 2 small turbos and a bigger turbo would give you more.

Plus you will struggle with room and heat issues etc.

Sell your mk3, buy an R32, then you can go bug the mk4 section on how to twin-turbo that, as that can actually done.
