The same guy built mine. Quality is good.

I made one and gave up. Really couldnt be bothered! Sounded rubbish and for the headache and materials it wasnt worth it for me.

Sounds awesome!  Hidden the amp in the rear quater panel also.

The same guy built mine. Quality was ok but did have a problem with the shallow kenwood I asked for (none in stock) but was supplied with a JL instead.

Looks good I was really after one that doesn't encroach quite so much into the boot - Bit like this one;

and I was looking at mounting the amp on the other side, but behind rear panel is also an option I hadn't thought about...

Just a pity he was/is such a "Tool"

Will all depend on the subwoofer and box capacity. Overall i'm happy with mine. cant fault the sub box and its someones time

The 10'' JL supplied blows my 12 top end pioneer away. (timer delay on the amp ftw)

Mounted the amp like so and does the job!

The main problem that I can see with that, and the other one pictured, is that you can't easily get to the boot light switch. If I leave mine for any amount of time, I like to pull the wire off the back of it, so that I can be 100% sure that the light has turned off.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

I was considering doing something like this (Not In Blue) and carpeting the back of the parcel shelf and wiring it up to a Micro Switch that will light it up when the boot is opened...

and losing the silly rear light under the shelf completely...

It's not actually a blue light-it's an white LED light strip, but it's hard to take the photo at night with night-light and get it looking right. With LED lighting if it gets left on somehow, it won't drain the battery and I bought a special connector that you can just see against the back of the rear seat so it's easy when I want to remove the rear shelf.

Did wonder if it was just the light but you also have the ED1 blue shelves etc...

I have seen the connector - Been using your car as inspiration to do mine...

Who did your Bass Box and what light strip & Connector did you use... If you can remember?

Love the car BTW!!

I'm gonna have to re-think my original idea... Just had a look at my boot and realised that I have the First Aid Bracket & Kit on the Passenger side... so it will have to be the Drivers side that I use - But didn't notice before that the usable space is smaller due to the filler for the petrol tank... Darn!!

Also just ordered one of these; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120722386715 - for under the parcel shelf.... Gonna now look for a suitable connector for it so it's easy to remove the parcel shelf when needed...

Yeah, I had the first aid kit there too, but can't really put the sub box the other side as not enough depth for the sub.

I originally had an Audioscape sub box that I bought 2nd hand, but when I found the 7x5 rear shelf speakers hit the top of the box, I got another one the same made, but with a lower top. Was around £150-180, can't rightly remember.
