VWR Air filter panel
« on: 11 May 2011, 21:46 »
Looking through older posts and and found the VWR site, the Air panel filter is £80, any views on what if anything it will do in terms of BHP or pulling power on a GTD?

Again, thanks!

The general view is that it's a waste of money if your looking for any performance benefit.  It is also simply a rebranded Pipercross panel filter which is half as much as the VWR version.

I'll stick some up, just got a dent removed on the rear panel thankfully with a PDR, had the car 8 days, lovely spin in France and a Range rover door smacked it on the Boat home, a grown Man nearly in tears.....!

I put one of these on my 2.0 TSI, felt almost no difference in performance, however it sounds a little fruitier in the higher rev range
