Couple of questions about the golf :)
« on: 11 May 2011, 16:41 »
Hi all was just wondering why people use Porsche breaks? Is it because they are the easiest to fit? (stupid question i know its just been bugging me as ive seen them on almost all the mk4 builds ) Are there other breaks you could use?

Another question, i keep seeing people add smaller wing mirrors? Like lupo or polo ones? Now im sure this is just like the bonnet bra (a matter of opionion) but ive never looked at my mk 4 and thought 'wow my wing mirrors are big'

Cheers

i don't know about the fitment of porsche brakes being the easiest as i've never done it myself but they look cool!a lot of audi builds have porsche calipers and even porsche rims, spose its keepin it german! as for the mirrors i spose its your own style/flava? :undecided:

Porsche brakes seem to be the must have "scene" look,  plus theres alot of porkers about!

Lupo / polo mirrors are a cheaper alternative the the R32 mirrors you can get,  they look alot cleaner IMO

Brembo's are 323mm aren't they??  Would have thought they were bigger than 312?  As they don't fit under 16inch wheels IIRC
