I tried would have been happy to stay VW but alas, took ownership of the Beamer today and its rained all day as usual north of the border, got myself some free parking sensors on the front, nice to get another freebie. Here are some pics of the replacment, its a pleasure to drive, though I can't get use to the start stop or the petrol engine....its too quiet

Beautiful mate! Was looking at one yesterday, they need sat nav though imo just to make the dash a bit more interesting. Do they still have the daft mpg needle in the dials? Drove one once and the needle was jumping around like crazy! :laugh:

Yer the needle is still there lol, it looks like a old amp needle bouncing around to a disco song from the 70's, I'd like to disable it as you can't help but watch it..

Re Sat Nav I agree it looks a little plain there as the radio is quite low unlike the GOLF with its big unit fitted,

No complaints so far and the Xenon's are brill from what I've seen so far,

Turns a few heads and slows people down  :evil: :evil:
