Painting/Repairing Bumpers on my golf

Can anyone help me out and advise me how to go about fixing the damage on a mk3 golf I just bought - any help is appreciated..

The paint has been removed, down to the fibreglass, filler has been used or so the owner tell me?? what do i do now? Just spray (im talking spray paint - aerosol can)  the colour (velvet blue) on? do i prime first or after or not at all? anything else?

The bumper has been cracked quite a bit leaving the back bumper and the drivers side of it to start falling apart, is there anway to join it back together or is a whole new bumper needed?? also the paint has been f**ked up like the front one..

Also the wing is damaged, however I have a brand new wing which just needs painting, how should i go about doing this??


Any help is appreciated, can't afford to get it pro done so the cheapest method possible would be great

That looks a big job m8 and it sounds like your not sure what your doing.Id rather save the money and get a half decent job done on it by a bodyshop.
But if you want to have a go yourself then you need to get the preparation right else the final result will look sh!te m8.
You need to rub it all down then primer then rub down again with wet and dry and get it as smooth as you can then use some kind of degeasing stuff to get all dust and bits of then spray with ya colour.Then youll need to laquer it to give it the shine you want.But the colour that you need to acheive looks a tuffen to match.
So like i said get a bodyshop to do the job m8 someone always knows a cheap but half decent sprayer.

Is there any specific primer/laquer to use??

I dont mind as long as it doesnt stand out and looks decent, the front work is quite small so i might give it a go..

How about the crack on the back? anyway to sort that out?
