Never has a problem with mine either, even the snow last year didn't stop it???

I reckon if someone is suing them then its someone who didn't use it right and didn't use there mirrors in conjunction with the camera and probably wrote there car off

Its an excellent piece of kit

cough cough another VW cost cutting exercise, I bet it will be one of these only available on higher end car i.e touareg and pheatons

Tried the wretched thing before I ordered and it is crap on a dark rainy night, which is the norm more often than not in this country. I am very satisfied with my front and rear sensors. End of.

I think the camera is one of the best novelty options on the car!
£155 seems like a bargain to me - and everyone who is ever in the car thinks its brilliant... especially when you make them get outside and watch the badge open!!
Perhaps VW will change to the cheap numberplate light style ones instead?

I disagree, i find it works best in dark wet conditions, now sunlight on the screen!

I wonder whether it was one of our american friends...perhaps someone put the car into reverse then booted it expecting it to park itself. Bit like cruise control and getting in the back for a kip.....

Spoke to a customer today who said same about certain cameras in the next few months are going to become harder to get.
