Spec checked the car today all came back as full uk just paint as yellow no other description.

Interesting....So how much would the special paint colour of cost as an option?

It'd be interesting to hear about how come they have a custard coloured GTI in the first place.

Its defo an import has that colour was only available in Europe, 

Why so? Bet you can order almost anything if you try. Like say a mk2 TT in mk2 Golf Oak Green

On the pirelli it was a standard colour in Europe and the UK just got the standard colours?  I would agree with you and say if your pockets are deep enough to have a special order paint then they will do it.

Black Gloss Huffs, with yellow edging like mine (red though), yellow grill stripe, and thats a Win for me...

Rare as, and worth a few bob for a collector, as long as its not an import.
