If you're still interested in a month or so I could be selling my black 5 door 8v Anniversary on 83 thousand miles. Looked after by VW Twickenham for most of life. I'm going to stick it through it's MOT at the end of the month and then decide if I want to sell it or not.

Yeah a month or so would be good timing actually. What kind of price would you be looking for? Are you in twickers then? I may be all the way up in W/Yorks but one of my housemates is from there so that wouldn't be such a pain to get to after I am rid of my Polo.

Well the previous owner lived near Twickenham so that'd be why. I'm currently floating between West Sussex and Surrey (Sutton / Croydon way) I was aiming to put it up around the £15/600 mark because to be honest it's in pretty good condition other then a few cosmetic things. The bonnet was vandalised so there's a nice word on it and someone dented the passenger wing and didn't leave any details annoyingly. I've been looking to replace them but finding a colour match has been annoying ha. So unless I can sort those out in the time being I guess with the cosmetic damage around £1400 maybe

No offense there JackJack but that's asking a lot if you don't get those things sorted. If I were to buy it off of you with a obscene word etched into the bonnet, and a dented wing, I'd be wanting it for £1K and no more. Cars aren't selling at the moment, especially our tugboats, but you need to be reasonable.

Ouch ok. Not that it really helps but it's not an obscene word. I know it's asking a lot but I have been meaning to sort those out. Just finding the right colour match is proving more difficult then I thought and I don't feel confident enough repainting it myself

Speak to a college near you, they'll take it in and do all the repairs and resprays for you for free.

Super.  :nerd:

If anything goes wrong the tutors do it, do it to an absolutely perfect standard to show the students too.

The students want to well because they are exam pieces.

I had a mini and a motorbike resprayed at my local college and they were flawless.

Took ages for a full respray though...

Well it'd be a long way for me to go to look at a car with a dent in it and 'a nice word' scribbled on the bonnet. If you PM me some pictures so I can see what condition the rest of it is in then I'll let you know if I'm interested :afro:
