Part number needed from gearbox

Upon losing all my gears the other night, I need to get a new part as the spline on this particular part has rounded it's teeth (which caused my gears to go all crap).

It's on an 8v gearbox, and it's a piece of metal with a circular spline at the end of it, it's directly to the right attached to the weight on the gearbox mechanism. I would get a picture but don't have one handy. I was going to check at the stealers later on lunch but would also like to know the best/cheapest place to get it.

Nope, it's in the engine bay, that linked page looks more like the area from within the car leading to the gearbox?

I just had a look at all those, and I can't for the life of me figure out which part it is.  I'm going to get a picture in about 30 minutes so that will make it all clear then. Thanks for the help so far, buddy.
