two things!!! my new recaros and my boot hatch can it be done?

first thing on the agenda, i am fairly new to all this mod stuff but here goes... i have just purchased a full leather Recaro interior in mint condition for my mk4 from a mates mk4 to replace the fabric ones i have (which will be listed for sale very shortly if anyone is interested.) they are yet to be removed and after a chat on the phone my mate said to check if i have the loom for the heated seats and i was told to look under my seats for a green plug looking connection... well im away from my car for the next week however im told it should be there in all mk4 dubs TRUE OR FALSE please answer some kind person!!! will i need to purchase this 'Loom'

Secondly i really want to lose the boot handle on my dub and have a mk5 style VW logo handle put in when i have my re-spray is this possible has it been done, does anyone have pics? the mk5 boot lids are obviously moulded and cut to this is there a way i can have the whole cut without having to also have the metal remoulded so to speak is there an after market bracket anyone knows of if to sit the handle in... does that even makes sense???

alright m8 i replaced my standard velour ones with cloth recaro's as cant afford the leather ones u jammy sod lol but with mine there was no heating option from my original and the recaros i bought didn't have the heating either however i did have to chop off the connectors from the original seatrs and swap them onto the recaros as they were different shaped  connector(same wiring). i'm not sure if you will have the heater wire as standard as you have standard seats, may need the loom but again hopefully some one who has done it will reply. oh and it about an hr's job first time whith changing the connectors.
