No, you remove the complete lock assembly.

One of the engineers had some time this morning so we popped into work and got boost gauge in and working, tried the white lighting for the daytime but way too bright so went with green for both day and night which matches the other dials as well.

Took the piping out through the grommet for the bonnet release.

Cheers, need to try and find a black surround in place of the silver, would not stand out so much then with ign. off etc.

its the same with mine, i was going to spay it matt black but cant be botherd maskin it all off,i dont think my surround come off

Nope but I think you can get a black surround to go over the top.
