Wayne, can you give me an idea of the economy you're getting out of this and what sort of driving you do? Very very tempted to get a red one of these. So much car for the money.

Well the MFA has not dropped below 33mpg since I have picked it up, have done 290miles of mixed driving so far, will do around 40mpg on a run, if you open the taps it drops quickly  .

Have been trying to find a second hand one but with no luck.

Should be able to get some money back by selling the old one later.

I did post a picture on page 1, it has been very badly painted, I could have had it repainted but it would mean leaving the car on the road outside the house with no bumper which I was not keen on hence the search for a s/h one.

Shame you couldn't find a decent 2nd hand one but at least the new one will be perfect

Small update, no pics as yet.

New bumper collected today and delivered to the bodyshop.

Have also collected new plates (not pressed ones) plus the surrounds from ebay have arrived.

Collecting lower splitter tomorrow from Seat plus paint to sort mirrors and grille surround

Yep on both counts, LCR splitter, satin black mirrors and grille surround.

Mirror covers have lots of marks in any case so seems a quick and easy way too sort it, I picked up a spare grille surround in case it goes wrong.
