just got a golf mk3 gti 16v when i floor it going up the gears the engines hestiates i belived to be the air flow meter when unplug seems fine have now changed this and the problem is still there can anyone help

16v dosent have airflow meter so how did you manage to change it ?

Check your spark plugs, leads and dizzy cap as a start, also try the mk3 section people there may have some better suggestions
