Hi all, I need a driver side regulator and have seen new aftermarket ones along with used ones. My instincts tell me to go for a used one as I assume the quality would be better. Just wondered if anyone had bought one and if it was any good.

Think my rear right has failed on mine, the motor buzzes so either the reg is stuck or with my luck, the motor has burnt out. Ive used second hand ones on my previous Mk3 and they were fine but as I can't find any I found this site:

Thats cheap! Really can't comment about the quality yet until I order up the rear one for mine.

I bought one 2 years ago and it lasted just over a year. It would make a weird noise every now and then. It then failed making the said noise. I bought another one last May and has worked perfect since with no noise !!

Bargain, worth a punt at that price.
