The tiny singular bulb commonly fails in the heater control panel. It costs pennies and about 15 mins to replace.

I thought you could just pop the front of the heater control panel off? :undecided:

I'm pretty sure it is! If I remember correctly it's a bit fiddly but it's definitely doable, there are some little spring loaded rod things which are a bit of a b!tch to sort as well I think

pop the the front panel off and theres 4 screws to undo then pull out the control panel and you will see the bulb should take no longer than 10-15mins.

Exactly that, the fascia simply pops off then remove the 4 screws on each corner of the heater dial unit and pull it forward, you'll then see a white plastic cowl on the rear of the unit which pulls off off. Beneath this is the the bulb holder which will have a green filter around it. remove this and withdraw the bulb.

Or a quick tip is pull the knob off the centre dial.Get a small piece of rubber vacuum hose and push it onto the bulb.Once it is located in the tip of the pipe, give it a pull and out it comes.
For refitting just put it very lightly in the end of the pipe and push back in.

Jobs a gudn :)
