Hella Quads

Right, my sisters boyfriend decided to reverse into me and break the surround for the quads. can anyone tell me what are good quality replacements? i fear some on ebay may be really brittle?

Brittle for what? once there on whats going to break them? if someone is gonna hit them they will brake regardless.

You have a point i suppose. but if they are going to break with stonechips or small bumps i would rather pay abit more for quality lol

Thats true. I know there has been threads on the ebay covers before and I have never read anything bad about them, I don't remember a bad report. I can't really say if they are any good.
I had some genuine covers that were cracked, one had a hole. I used some filler, sanded them down and sprayed them lol didn't cost anything as I had everything I needed.

Genuine Hella one's can be repaired easily using a hot soldering iron,i have fixed quite a few,even one's in 6 pieces (this applies to covers,frames and all mounting lugs).I would'nt bother trying to repair the cheaper copies though,the plastic just wo'nt have it.Depending on what damage has been done you may need to use a small amount of filler as well.
