got it back and fitted it, also done the water pump (original job) and the cam belt/tensioner-lucky i did this as the belt was loose and the tensioner was gettting wobbly (the old plastic type now got the metal one) i also think the cam timing was out by one tooth as it seems to rev more freely, will find out in a minute when i go and cane her (cam belt has always worried me since i got the car as it has comprehensive service history but nothing mentions a cam belt change), i also got my idle down to circa 850 rpm.
now its just down to the mot station to pass her and i'll be well happy.
may even get new oil, plugs etc too, god i'm good to geeta sometimes
