Actually the colour wise is not far off the truth. There is huge issues with paint supplies.
Good Lord. First it was the engine shortages (still is by the sounds of things), then the parts shortages and now they haven't ordered enough paint.
It must be so frustrating working in a dealership and having to tell people that an overpriced shopping car has massive waiting lists despite the fact it only has a 12 month shelf life left on the model. Then watching said customers vanish. No wonder you see so few mk6 GTIs and GTDs about.
At least we can take heart in the fact that our highly desireable cars have an excellent used value - until you come to part ex them that is....
