hi all can someone please clarify whats the difference between a normal shock and spring and a coilover im confused from croydon

shock and spring are factory look type suspension and are at a set hight, depending on the shock you can sometimes adjust the dampening.

coilovers are normally hight adjustable aswell as being able to adjust the dampening

ahh thanks for clearing that up i need some coilobers for my mk3 now i know im away hunting fleabay

Most cheap coilovers are not fully adjustable so damping cannot be changed
