Supercharger!

Well might be supercharing the ABF watching a charger on ebay... £100 no bids! :D
all i need then is the ecu and il be good to go.. well and a bracket etc but easy done

is £300 good for a mega squirt?

Depends on the megasquirt, you need to make sure you get megasquirt with the Map sensor on it (MPX4250 i think) to handle the boost. Also its not normally just the case of plugging Megasquirt in and off you go, its quite in depth setting it all up properly.
You will also need a head gasket spacer or double stack yr head gaskets to lower compression, all related pipework, pulleys and belts, intercooler, bigger injectors, possibly a bigger fuel pump and will need to modify yr sump for an oil feed for the charger.
Make sure you take plenty of pics an post yr progress  :wink:

yea i know about the other bits. basically following a thread on e38 for a charged abf.
brackets can make up etc and the other bits i can get easy just thinking about the price as i can get a 20v T fitted for about £600ish and then if i wanted can easily tune that more. where as if i have a charged abf (although AMA|ING) can i tune it as much for the same amount... plus will cost me about £500-600 to do it too

thats what i was thinking. although he did just tell me the turbo has a slight play in the shaft and i need a loom.
there is a agu on here for 250 with everything i need so might take that up :P
