GrandMstRamRod, guess what! I cleaned the car, and blacked the trim!!!  Proof for you tomorrow.

Have a new interior too, I imagine many won't think it goes but meh, I really like it. It's different.

Also, found this tube today, not connected to anything:

Also I think I may have found out my issue of cutting out under braking. Just to the left of the tube I'm asking about, you can see another with a little part coming out, with another rubber tube in it along with a screw. This is my temporary fix until I get a proper seal as this little section had a rubber nipple that was damaged and pulling in air. After doing this bodge job I feel it is better because the car isn't dropping under 900rpm at all now. Fingers cross this was the problem.

Back to the main tube, it leads to this unit behind the coolant tank:

Here you got then, pictures!

And how look when out of the car:

Clean car!

And many thanks to Godzilla, what a beast! Quite literally, sent me some lovely centre caps to finish off the RX2s:

Now for the bad stuff. Sadly, my car is running at 1200K rpm constantly, I have looked online and most likely due to the throttle body clean so have to disconnect the battery for a few hours to allow it to reset.

Sure you haven't left any vaccum pipes loose? Mine was idling at 1200 when there while I was waiting for a vaccum pipe. Once on it was fine.

New vaccum pipe from the servo to the manifold from VW if needed is about £45.

Where all my moneys went.

Golf MK3 1.6. Golf MK3 8v GTI.
