bought this just before christmas for 170 needed water pump
Had nasty sideskirts and the springs were sky high and very kerbed wheels.

first thing was to do the water pump and might aswel do the belt
and this was the old one!!!!
Picked up all four 60mm PI lowering springs for 20pound brand new so time to rid of the boat ride

got a halfruads rip speed dvd stereo for christmas dose the job
Got a vr6 splitter and mk4 style head lights for free so fitted them splitters abit fadded and grill being sprayed
Sprayed the dummy covers and debadged grill
Quickly installed the bonnet lifters works a treat

also got a set of fk auotmotive shocks and another set of springs for £30 so got new top mounts and bearings and got to fitting them.

stripped my interor to change to vr6 interior i got from my bros vr6 doner car much better then the cl and also got the luxury of rear speakers

decided i culdnt stand the 1.4 engine so due to my bro putting vr6 in his golf meaning i had everything i needed to convert mine so didnt waste time doing it. so out the 1.4 engine came and a conversion was to b made.
didnt take long at all just had few issuses with sparking which turned out to be crank positions sensor,
driveshafts are on the way and needed new gear selector bush so waiting for that and still gota fit the vr6 calipers and wait for the g60 disc to arrive.
