8v GTi - underdamped or undersprung
« on: 23 March 2005, 18:21 »
I have been in the "leave well alone" camp after putting a full Koni kit on my 1st Mk3 and it was a load of ar$e.  I feel that the std ride is a bit "jittery" so, which of the questions do you reckon?

I won't be going the coilover route so thats ot an option.  I wondered Eibach springs or bilstein dampers.

Thanks for you inputs.

My dad had Eibach springs and koni shocks on his MKIII VR6 and it was much much better than standard.

I had the same setup on my MKII 8v GTi years ago and that was ace too.
