I think i know why my door panels rattle. :grin:  Mine must have been in a showroom for that missing 2 weeks between shipped and delivery  :grin:

I'd have laughed so hard if the door had fell off, I wonder if the hinges on that GTI now have a shorter life span.

My god.

That takes me back to when I was a kid and closing my dads old Marina car with the window down. I only closed it with normal force but the glass smashed instantly. Ever since then I've always had to make sure the glass is up before closing the door.

My dealer had a canary yellow Beetle allocated to him around the time that I ordered my GTI. It's still there almost a year on and it's become a standing joke between us. It is now referred to as 'the punishment' because it was allocated to him and you can't miss it because it stands out like a sore thumb.

That custard yellow GTI is foul by the way. I'd rather hoped it was a white GTI under yellow lighting when I first saw that video.  :sick:
