big probs  ive just dun me clutch and now the brown wire going to my coil pack in the 3 wire connector block lt side has burnt out any1 know a reason for this ??? need to find out where it goes so i can replace it without stripping the loom help as this is my daily runner

ive found out that its an earth wire it goes to an earth in the digifant unit  could i just earth this to the body? anyone know ? i had just changed the clutch cable which is right next to these wires cant figure whats going on

could you not try and fit spade or bullet connectors to the wire so that you can connect it back together, or even if both ends are long enough then earth them out at the same point

just been out n started it first time and second but 1 hell of a noise cumming from one of the injectors a real loud tick  im almost at the point of sayin fork it

ive let it run for a bit and the ticks gon  still give it half hour will c if he starts again

sounds liek you missed an earth after changing the box and things have earthed where they shouldn't have.

the brown wire to the coil runs to the chunky wire to the battery -ve, along with a load of other sensor/ecu earths.  check the battery -ve to the stud on the rear gearbox -> engine bolt is connected, and take the battery tray out and check the earths under there are all good too.

however if the coil earth has burnt out you may have to unwrap most of the  engine loom to fully repair the wiring damage :(

cleaned the earth going from engine to coil will try those points youve mentioned tomorow  ive got a funny noise cumming from my dash it picks up and drops with the revs it must be electrical  any1 elses expierienced anything like this ?
