Simply the best!
« on: 22 April 2011, 15:37 »
Just washed and waxed my Monza Shadows. Piece of cake!
Used the wax from Eurochem, which is simply the best, IMO.

No, I am not going to post this in the Detailing Section, YET. :lipsrsealed:

Good job done and it's looking smart.
I'm going to cheat a little as a detailer is booked for Thursday. The first big clean after the winter is a killer. I remember last spring thinking I would get someone in too do the first major one.. He will put my summer wheels on also. After that I just need to give it the usual Sunday wax.

Did you lower the suspension further as your GTI looks as though it sits lower than mine. Looks better for it I many add.
On Order Golf GTI 5 Door Manual - Pearl Black - 18' Vision Alloys - Goodyear F1 Asymmetric Tyers - Sunroof - Xenon Lights - Touch Screen Cd Player With Dyneaudio amp and speakers - Folding Wing Mirrors - Dealer Fit - Steel VW kick plates - Front And Rear Mud Flaps - Sill boot protector - Boot liner - 3 year Service Plan - Carpet Matts With GTI Logo And Red Pipping.

I think the above post was for me?  :undecided:
No the car has not been lowered, just the smog in London is weighing it down.

I thought rimwax was suggested as Asker has had a few problems with his rear. Sorry Asker, had to make you the butt of my joke..

Seriously though, car looks good. I am on standard Monzas at the moment and i find that getting brake dust and the odd spot of tar off to be a real pain and it's giving me pause for thought as i am going to get some BBS CH 18's which will be a lot harder to keep clean i suspect.

Alex:
I would be eternally grateful if you would kindly desist from showing such an unhealthy interest in my rear rim. It is, as you well know, red and healthy wih ample blood supply and is not bleck and rotten like yours. No, I am not offering you a blood transfusion as this will only lead to a transfection from you.
