another years no claims, insurance increases??!!!

well another year claim free ( in total & greenlight have increased my renewal on gti by nearly £100!! from £420 to £500 how does that work!!

I have a seat 1.2 12ver.

Got 3 NCD and no claims. Was £350 through swift. Got my renewal last week - a whoping £630 tag.

Done a search and went with 1st central for £320

Just shows when you shop around!

the insurance companies are blaming the snow for the increase in premiums because of all the people trying to drive and crashing last winter.

TBH it's always been like this. I have only had a couple of years when my premium has gone down in 16 years of driving.

15 years no claims
13 years I hd the same car
2 of those years my premium was cheaper than the year before, the rest of the time my premium went up.
