I'd second that. Selling up is like letting them win. The people that stole your car are simply low life scum.
It's pointless us working hard to enable us buy nice things if we don't due the fear of what these people may or may not do. I am a firm believer in "what goes around, comes around" and one day something very nasty will happen to the people that took your car.
To a degree this is quite true Simon, these scum do get what comes round in the end. I have family that work both in the Police and Social Services and I'm familiar with some of the stories (though no names obviously to protect the guilty).
These people mix in certain circles and their lives take familiar patterns. It may seem like they get away with a lot & with little punishment when they are young and prolific, but life quickly catches up with these people and they end up with pretty empty unenviable lives.
None of this compensates their victims though, but time is a healer and time does the opposite to the perpetrators.
