3 spoke VW wheel question

hi guys

brought a 3 spoke wheel for my passat and was wondering if you guys knew if this was normal or not?

see how much play there is in the front plastic?
I have took the aitbag off i can see that the airbag is intact and there is a bag in it,  just wondering if anyone else suffers with this
