TDI 90 - Is it worth getting remapped ?
« on: 20 April 2011, 10:39 »
Hi Guys,

New MK4 TDI 90 owner here.

Ive noticed that Revo are offering £100 off the remapping service at the moment, bringing the cost down to £99. At this price it is seriously tempting but it is worth it ?

Also are the standard internals up to the job ?

Thanks in advance.

Im just after that little bit more power.

I find the 90 quite flat as it is.

The R-Tech software will add around 30bhp and 40lbft ans with the correct driving manner can easy return an extra 15%MPG.  Look forward to meeting you.

Just arrived home.

Its been a very long day but my god has it been justified thanks to the guys at R-Tech.

Set out this morning at 4:30 to be with them at 9:30. Alot of my friends are asking me why travel so far, my answer, because I wanted it to be done by the best. Simple.

My point has been proven, with my TDI 90 rolling out of there with 121 BHP and 210 LBFT. During the drive home, the Mrs and I couldn't stop smiling.

Thanks guys, couldn't recommend enough ! Anyone on the edge, jump off and get it done ! Best £225 I have ever spent.
