Who is this car for?

The 0.00001% of people who fall into the "Scirocco too racy, Golf too mumsy" brigade?

Stop it, VW. And BMW too with your silly MINI ClubSportCountryBananaMan cars.

Looks a bit more like the original beetle than the previous, and thus looks a bit like a 911....

Did I miss something? only 40mpg.... my wife's 308 does around 60mpg on a run...

I do quite like the shape of this though, better proportioned to the previous effort

exactly what i was thinking!!

the wife pointed it out the other day when she saw a pic of it on the net, shes got the current new beetle turbo, and yes its a girls car!! but hers is pretty quick how ever i do feel the need to be a passenger more than i do drive it lol..... new one looks alot meaner but there never going to transfer the image of the old aircooled original to a new water cooled modern safe car as much as they try, as cool and 'funky' as they are now and will be in the future they wont ever capture it properly till they start putting engines in the back and really go back to basics inside and have a flat screen lol....

none of which will happen, but its a vw , they will have a following regardless, and my mrs is happy with hers so im happy :)

+1

Unfortunately all car companies are being forced down that route as DRLs are becoming a legal requirement on cars manufactured after a certain date coming up very soon.
