Just got loads of stuff for my Mk3 (
http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=18970.0
) and it was well cheap.  All OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) so its made to the same tolerances by the same companies that make the std stuff, but won't have the VW Audi stamp on OR the price rise to go with it.
If the cars needed uprated kit they would come from the factory with it...controversial

I too would recommend Euro Car Parts, as i have been using them.
But stay away from GSF, cheap nasty sh!t.
