axle bush
« on: 17 April 2011, 21:00 »
me mk4 has been making a funny 'rattling' noise from the drivers side rear corner, so today i thought id jack it up and have a look......
shock absorber has completely destroyed itself!!
but when i had the mot done 1 advisory was the rear axle bushes were worn, so,
as ive gotta get the car up on stands next weekend to change the shocks was gunna do the bushes too.
Are these hard to do? i know there quite cheap, but is it too much hassle to attempt on the drive??  :undecided:
cheers sean

They are difficult to remove, standard bushes need to be pressed in.
